What more could I ask for on my last day home.
My Awesome Sister in law gave birth to my 2nd Niece in the car. They were on their way to the Hospital, as they pulled in she gave birth right then in there... Pretty awesome I think..
Well my little niece was born in July, meaning I missed it. So two months later here I am on my way to see her
She loves me
Lets just say I was pretty happy spending time with her... I got to have her alllllllll DAY
Just spending the day with my lovely mother :)
This is my brother Kevin.... He has been deployed since May 2011.... He's to be gone for a year... Well with all the traveling that I have been doing I thought I wouldn't see him till May 2012.... Well Surprise he came home 5 days after I did.... He is the awesome father of my two Nieces and the Husband to my Awesome Sister in law... And he's my biggest brother.... He got to spend only two weeks with his family but it was good for them... and ME!
We really don't hug led alone see each other as often cause we live an hour away and live busy life's...So I loved ever moment of this....
This would be home the night he got home with this Daughter Maggie... She two now ;)
Maggie likes to think she is making beautiful Music, but she is only two.... But she is for sure super cute while trying
Got to watch my good friend Zach Markwith play football... First college football game I have gotten to go to...
He's the one holding the Football for the other guy to kick...
I'm not the biggest fan of football so sorry for not saying the right terms.
I will say it was a lot of fun watching him play... and show some anger... He is a very sweet guy and I have never seen an angry side of him...
His #2 just and FYI
My last day home.
My church does an event that's called, God's Not Broke.... Its an all day event, everything is free. We do BBQ, Live Music, Garage sale, We block off the whole block that is right next to our amazing Coffee shop... Then at the end of the event we have a Baptism, and show a documentary that we had been working on through out the summer... It was amazing and my awesome Friend Jess got saved that night as well.... It was SWEET!!! and a very good way to end a few days before leaving once again...
I love doing mission... It does make it hard to leave family and friends when I am gone for so long... I was only home for about 8 months before I packed up and left again. Last year (2010) I was only gone for 4 months. It was still hard as is. But I would never give it up for what the Lord had been working in my life... Once I got home and even before then I knew that I was going to be very busy with ministry... I had to get a job cause I found out that's how your bills get paid...
There's this Coffee house that we own. It's all fully based ministry. One there gets paid and its all Suggested donations..... Well we just reopened shortly after I got home in August. I knew I was to be there as much as I could and to just dive into ministry... I had been gone for a while.. Missing home, missing doing ministry within my church.... Well about three months after I got home I was so focused on ministry and wanting what the Lord had and finding a job, that even thinking about being with anyone was the last thing on my mind... I was really happy with where the Lord had me and I was (is) so in love with the Lord that my eyes were not even on a guy...
And about four months before I left I had gotten a little hurt by one, and then by the time I was coming home he was able to hurt me once again... I was pretty much over him but what happened didn't help the fact that he still goes to my church and I would see him everyday pretty much...
Well not only him but I guess about six other guys thought the Lord told them that I was to be their wife...
UMMMMMM? WHAT?!?!?!?!?
I'm not saying that I don't want to be with anyone, I just plan on being with the right one...
So between Work, Coffee house, Youth girls, bible studies, missions ministry and what ever else came my way I was so busy within those eight months.
The next thing I knew I was packing my bags and getting on the Plain..... and off to Hawaii...
I was never to fond of going... The Lord put it on my heart, didn't understand why but I knew it was something He asked me to do...
I love doing missions work, it brings so much joy into my life.
Going to Hawaii even in my head did not seem like it was going to be a hard thing but it was.
I never thought that I would get close to anyone or even to the people that I got close with..
I'm still taking in everything that happened this summer.. so much did happen that I'll forget that it was this summer, and be like dang a lot did happen in three months....
Ehhhhh..... life is good.... I wouldn't say I loved some of the things I went through, but I wouldn't give it up for what I learned and grew through it....
Just wanted to update you all two of you, who ever you are...
I will be posting some more about things that went on through the summer and what has been going on here in Motherwell Scotland
Thanks for reading!
In His Loving Grace
